Rosso: 2024 Mario Bagella “1Sorso”, Cannonau, Sardegna 15/75
Light ruby red in the glass, this Cannonau is exquisitely balanced and clean. It admirably retains all the punchiness of Cannonau – wild berries, herbs, and sea spray – carried on a much lither frame than is typical of the region. Just a touch of smoky-earthy and full of sun-kissed, little red fruits, it has an undertone of more savory notes like grilled stone fruit and wild mint.
